Here’s to taking an old tradition & replacing it with a slightly modified version.

Did you know there are 3 parts to a gift exchange?

.Here’s how it works:

Gather your family & closest friends. Your community group or gal pals. Circle up with a group of trusted folks you can squeeze into a living room with.
Everyone: bring a wrapped gift. Made or bought, it’s something that represents what you’ve learned this year. There’s a story & lesson learned behind it. A message of hope. A heart-felt this matters to me.
Draw numbers. Start with one. As each gift is opened, the giver shares their story with the group.
Say thank you. The receiver accepts & takes this encouragement with them.
Go forth with a new perspective & wisdom. Consider it a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you. Deuteronomy 23:5
